Graphite crucible is made from our high quality graphite block and widely used in all kinds of furnace for melting such as jewelry, gold, silver, copper, brass, iron, aluminum, zinc, lead and so on. Precautions:
1. Before we use the graphite high temperature crucible, remember to fill up the broken material, and then preheat the crucible and the material together. When only the empty crucible is preheated, it is easy to cause the empty crucible to heat up too fast and the crucible to overheat due to the urgency of the pellet furnace, resulting in streaks.
2. After one month of use, please stop the furnace for half a day, take out the graphite crucible, clean the carbon ash outside the crucible, and use an electric wire brush, which can improve the thermal conductivity. Turn 90 degrees and place inside the furnace to prevent the flame from burning in one position all the time.
3. After using it for another month and a half, please take out the graphite high-temperature crucible, clean the carbon deposits, and put it into the furnace after turning it to 90 degrees.
4. Please do not add too much cold scraps when changing shifts and eating. Because if too much is added, the upper layer of aluminum liquid will solidify, causing upper cooling and lower heating, and cracking of the upper opening of the graphite crucible.
